1955 signalled the beginning of Taekwon-Do as a recognised art in Korea and during that year, on the 11th April, General Choi Hong Hi explained the meaning of “Taekwon” both literally and technically.

A Worldwide Martial Art, Taekwon-Do is practiced from the North Pole to the South Pole.

Today we celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Naming of Taekwon-Do.
