Black Belt Seminar, Grading & Local Training

Anyone wishing to promote to 4th Dan or above, must apply in advance to the ITF Promotion Committee(Click here to apply)

All Black belt grading courses will include a pre-grading, at which grading applicants will be advised on whether to proceed or not. Individually the four elements of the grading (Technical, Sparring, Power and Theory) will each need a minimum of a 60% pass mark to be able to continue to the promotion exam. However with the power test, all of the power criteria as listed on the grading record card must have been achieved previously, any missing items on the grading record card also must be completed.

Black Belt Seminar and Grading

  • 3 -5 September, Glasgow - Conducted by First Grand Master Rhee

    The forthcoming black belt seminar and grading will be held from 3rd to 5th September 2010 at Shawlands Academy, Moss Side Rd, Glasgow, G41 3TR.

    Please ensure that all relevant forms are completed and signed by Instructors where applicable, and that a current e-mail address is provided to receive a confirmation letter.

    The time schedule at present is as follows; however please check the times on your letter of acknowledgement which will be e-mailed to the e-mail address provided on your application form.

    Friday 3rd Sep: 5.30pm Registration 6pm – 9pm Seminar
    Saturday 4th Sep: 10am – 1pm Seminar
    1pm – 2pm Lunch Break
    2pm – 6pm Seminar
    Sunday 5th Sep: 10am – 4pm Grading

    All application forms, fees, licences and blue grading cards must be received by Monday 16th August 2010.
